It's May 12th and, as promised, today my assistants (ehem, kids) and I picked the winners of the AuthorBuzz contest in which five readers have won a free, personally signed copy of HERE SHE LIES.

Thanks so much to everyone who entered the contest. There was a tremendous amount of enthusiasm that made it really fun to read the emails as they streamed into my mailbox. I apologize for not being able to answer entrants personally...it's been a busy couple of weeks for me, and my assistants, well, they're such slackers--if they're not busy with homework they're messing up the table eating snacks, gazing into the distance strumming a guitar or sprawled on the floor maneuvering itsy bitsy dolls through some fantasy world.
Seriously, though...I'm so happy to be able to send out copies signed personally to Bonnie, Olivia, Julie, Maithe and Sanjay. I hope everyone else will go out and buy a copy of the book to read and enjoy. I'm thrilled (and relieved) to be able to say that in the two weeks since HERE SHE LIES was published, reviews have been excellent.
And for better or worse, the outcome of the global recession will be closer regulation of the world's economic and financial systems, for years to come.
